Fine Art Classes
All ages, cultures and artistic abilities are welcome to join this six week course in the heart of Auckland city starting Tuesday 6 November.
A friendly encouraging atmosphere under the guidance of experienced artist and tutor Marjorie Maclean will offer participants an excellent learning opportunity.
Drawing is the foundation of Marjorie’s classes and all artistic mediums are welcomed. Bring your own materials for drawing and painting and a table top or standing easel.

A friendly group of local residents and workers waving their hands like clouds and spreading their wings like cranes.... to improve their health and minimise stress. All welcome, from beginners to those with some experience. A 10 week term costs $120.00 per term. It's fine to join the class at any time during a term. We meet upstairs at the Ellen Melville Community Centre on Freyberg Place, High Street on Thursday, 5.30 - 6.30pm.
City Explorers Nature Playgroup
Join us for a play and exploration in Albert Park every Friday from 10 am to 12 noon. City Explorers is an all season playgroup that encourages children to explore their beautiful backyard of Albert Park. We also have songs, stories, pavement art, bubbles and more fun. Auckland City Street Choir
A friendly group of diverse folk from the city centre come together each Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm to sing a variety of Waiata and popular songs, eat pizza and build community. We meet at Pitt Street Methodist Church (downstairs) and all are welcome. There's no need to be able to read music, just a love of singing and fun.
